Machu Picchu is located at more than 2400 meters above sea level and is visited 365 days a year, however, here we tell you about the seasons to help you decide your travel dates.

Dry Season: From April to November Machu Picchu offers us a warm, sunny climate with almost no rain, this facilitates the walk through the Llaqta of Machu Picchu and if you wish you can also visit the Machu Picchu Mountain or the Wayna Picchu Mountain without inconveniences since the climate is favorable. Another point to consider is that this season is considered high and we recommend reserving it in advance (3 months minimum).

Rainy Season: From December to March the rains increase in Machu Picchu, February being considered the rainiest month, we must emphasize that not every day is rainy, there are sunny and green days too. As this season is considered low, the influx of tourists is less and allows them to visit the Llaqta de Machu Picchu with fewer tourists in it.
