CITY TOUR AND SURROUNDING RUINS CUSCO

Description of the excursion:
Around 01:00 PM Pick up from the hotel and start our excursion, we will enter the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful and significant monuments in America, an incredible place that amazes us with its beautiful works of wood and colonial paintings that keep many Inca iconographies in their engravings, bringing together a combination of unique characteristics such as their Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance styles. We will continue with the entrance to the Temple of the Sun “EL Qoricancha”, it was a sacred place where worship to the Inca god was rendered: the Inti (Sun), on the temple the Convent of Santo Domingo is built, chroniclers say that this temple was totally covered with gold foil. Then we go to the ruins of Cusco, first we will visit Sacsayhuaman, it is an Inca ceremonial fortress, a beautiful place that radiates peace and tranquility, we will admire the huge rocks more than 4 meters high, we will continue with the excursion and head towards the ruins of Qenqo, archaeological center that offers us among its greatest attractions the labyrinth with its zigzag channels, really wonderful, we continue with the ruins of Tambomachay, archaeological site with sacred sources of life and health, it offers us a series of aqueducts, channels and waterfalls of water flowing down the rocks. Return and we finish the excursion in the Plaza de Armas.
