ADVENTURE AND RELAXATION IN IRAPAY AMAZON LODGE

Itinerary:

Day 01: Iquitos – Irapay Amazon Lodge
Reception and pick up at the arrivals area of the Iquitos airport, where our representatives will assist you and transfer you to the port where you will be embarked on one of our boats that will direct you to Irapay Amazon Lodge through the Nanay and Momón rivers. During the tour you will be able to observe the wonderful landscapes of the Peruvian jungle accompanied by the small houses located on the banks of the rivers. After 30 minutes of travel we will arrive at the lodge, where our staff will welcome you and receive you with a refreshing fruit juice from the region. At the appropriate time we will check-in and location in your respective cabin. We will enjoy our first Amazonian meal at Maloca restaurant with a wonderful view of the Momón River. We will visit the Pilpintuwasi Butterfly Park, a magical place where they teach us the process of metamorphosis of butterflies, among the most striking that the center houses are the blue morpho butterfly and the owl butterfly. Likewise, Pilpintuwasi is also an animal rescue center, one of the most striking animals being a beautiful Jaguar. On our return to Irapay we will have time to appreciate our first Amazon sunset. If you wish, you can be located in the upper part from our viewpoint where you can see the vegetation of the area with the wonderful colors of the Amazon sunset. Day 02: Irapay Amazon Lodge
We start the day with the bird watching excursion, appreciating how the various birds gather in search of their morning food, this excursion will start very early by moving by boat along the Momón River. You can see various species such as Oropendolas, Paucares, Hawks, taangers as well as the Tuki (Jacana Jacana), Ringed Kingfisher (Ceryle-Torquata), Black-Collared Hawk (Busarellus nigricollis), among others. Then we will return to the lodge to enjoy an energizing breakfast, then we will take a break during the day to enjoy the Irapay facilities. Lunch in Maloca with a view of the Momón River. At nightfall, especially in the rising season of the rivers, we will enjoy a magical open boat tour through the Momón River, without any lighting, accompanied only by some glimpses of the flora and fauna of the jungle. If we find a clear sky, we can appreciate the splendid brightness of the moon, as well as the stars and constellations. Dinner at Maloca restaurant. Overnight at Irapay Amazon Lodge.

Day 03: Irapay Amazon Lodge
We will start the day with a delicious breakfast and we will leave for our first botanical walk through the jungle where we will observe medicinal plants, giant trees, the Irapay palm tree, and we will enjoy lianas to hang ourselves. We will return to Irapay to enjoy our lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit a native community, where they will show us their customs and native language, also, we will share their dances and songs, at the end of the tour we will be able to observe the crafts that they make. Free time to rest in our facilities and enjoy our last Amazon sunset. Dinner at Maloca restaurant. Overnight at Irapay Amazon Lodge.

Day 04: Irapay Amazon Lodge – Iquitos
Breakfast. We will enjoy a wonderful tour of the Amazon River, where we will observe the convergence of the waters of the Amazon and Nanay Rivers. We will make a brief stop at the seventh natural wonder for the observation of pink dolphins, if we are lucky and patient we can observe them. Transfer to the Iquitos airport.
