Itinerary:
Day 01: IQUITOS
Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Iquitos.
Day 02: MANATÍES RESCUE CENTER & QUISTOCOCHA LAGOON TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. We will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the Manatee Rescue Center, where we will be able to learn about this wonderful program for the rescue, rehabilitation and release of specimens of aquatic mammals and endangered wildlife, supported by an environmental education program. After this experience we will go to the Quistococha National Tourist Park. This beautiful natural setting is located 8 km from the city, following the route of the modern Iquitos-Nauta highway. Here you will be able to appreciate some of the species of the vast Amazonian fauna that are conserved in captivity and semi-captivity, including tapirs, river wolves, lizards, anacondas, tigrillos, otorongos, as well as a variety of primates. You can also admire the largest freshwater fish in the world, the paiche. The visit to Quistococha would not be complete without visiting or better yet swimming in its beautiful lagoon. The lagoon offers a charming landscape, with its clear waters on which the vegetation and the celestial sky are reflected like a mirror. It also has a white sand beach, as well as a restaurant and other comfortable and safe facilities for visitors. At the end of the tour we will take you to the hotel. Overnight in Iquitos.
Day 03: IQUITOS
Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time transfer to the airport.
